The US Senate is preparing to debate and vote on this act(HR 980) that will give firefighters the right to bargain collectively and have a grievance resolution. Please contact Senator Brownback and Senator Roberts and urge them to vote in favor of this legislation that will help Firefighters across the country, including many right here in Kansas.

2010 MDA Camp

Members of Local 135,

Attached is info on MDA Camp. There are opportunities to assist with the dock on a daliy basis. The times are at 10 am and at 2 pm. It is normally open for one hour. VIP day is on June 16th ( B-Shift ). Firefighters cook and serve the lunch to the campers. There is also a shaving cream fight that takes place shortly after lunch.
