On May 26^th the negotiating team met with a Federal Mediator and City representatives to try to resolve the contract. The negotiating team attempted several proposals in an effort to come to an agreement. In summary the City’s offer was rejected unanimously by the negotiating team. The membership had previously rejected a majority of the items proposed by the City.  The next step in the process is fact finding.
